Our Story
Where Country Meets Nightlife
Cowboy Shiner was born from a simple idea: great music makes everything better. What started as a passion for spinning records and hosting karaoke nights has grown into Fredericksburg’s home-grown DJ and karaoke entertainment service.
Based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and operating under DGT Communications LLC, Cowboy Shiner combines years of experience in live entertainment with his own sound and lighting gear and a genuine love for making people have a great time.
The Name
Cowboy Shiner is a nod to the blend of country roots and bright, electric energy that defines what we do. Country meets neon. Boots on the dance floor, lights in the rafters. That’s our vibe, and it shows in every event we touch.
We love the weddings where the bride kicks off her heels and dances barefoot, the corporate parties where the CEO grabs the karaoke mic, and the bar nights that turn into standing-room-only parties. Every event is different, and that’s what keeps us fired up.
